Typically there are a couple of big storms each summer. However for whatever reason, some years are definitely better than others with respect to the frequency and severity of the events

i remember edmonton 2007 or 2008 every day for atleast a month there was storm everynight

I have some on an other SD card will try to get them posted. here in olds we get some crackers every year. I drove thru the one that spawned the tornadoes last year just. awesome watching the whole system spin right above my head. great pics all. will try to get one this year with the cloud seeder plane in the field of veiw. wont be long now that the days are getting warmer.

These pics were from July 2011. First one was the front near our house,, what it dumped missed us but hit Eckville.





Sure are some huge fronts move through in the summer.
