Thumbs up Update Mar 29 - A great Year for my Grandson and now an NOJHL Award

Sorry I don't want to brag but he just makes me so proud it's hard not to.

My grandson Mason Svarich from Stony Plain has been tearing up the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League ( NOJHL) he plays for the Timmins Rock and with last nights win they clinched 1st place in the Eastern Division.

The Rock are on a 7 game win streak and Mason is on a 7 game point streak 20 points in his last 7 games, 8 goals 12 assists which brings his total to 39 goals 35 assists = 74 points in 43 games this season that's a 1.76 point per game average. I can only think where he would be if he hadn't missed 13 games.

He is such a well grounded dedicated young man and has been talking to numerous universities both in Canada and the US that have hockey programs where he can play hockey and pursue a law degree. The boy has his poop in a group

You just brag away there, Gramps. Literally less than a minute ago I sent pics of my 8 yr old grandson potting one! Nice to see your grandson stay grounded, mine will also!

Most kids can Pot one by age 2.

You guys should go right ahead and brag. It is so nice to hear about kids who are being raised right. There are so many everyday examples of the opposite that the really good ones often don't get recognized. I have a nephew who is raising 2 kids the right way and they are a pleasure to be around. Celebrate hard if you are among the lucky ones with great kids and grand kids.

Nothing wrong with pumping your grandson’s tires. Keep us informed of the teams progress. Best of luck to the team!

"You pump his tires all you want......."

The news is full of people who have embarrassed their family name and swinging from a remand gate; wishing they were you....

Enjoy every minute...
