Default Top lot?

So was anyone lucky enough to get a top lot for this auction? As much as I had hoped I was not. I do have one in the second lot so I'm happy enough with that!

Best of luck to all who have fur in this auction!

I thought that top lot wasn't decided until the auction? Only 2 of my 30 furs are listed, not sure why the rest isnt

Typically the first lot ends up being the top lot. There have been exceptions though.

Are your missing furs all one species? Perhaps they haven't been lotted yet. I would be calling if they don't show up by tomorrow!

Good! I know I would be in panic mode if my fur went missing!

Looks like I have 5 top lot ermine...I have a fox also that is SEL* 1-2, but a MED (color), XXD's usually get the top lot. Really happy with my Coyote grades, only have half a dozen II's, and one DG3, it was a little mangy (should have tossed that one). All my other dogs are graded either I* or I-II, should be a good sale. No listings yet for Squirrel, Fisher, Lynx, Otter, Beaver, Muskrat, Marten, or Mink on my account.

Got 2 beaver and my coyotes up is all. Coyote grades look decent I think so I hope the price does well. I have noticed in the last few auctions of what color of coyotes I have and it seems like I have a lot of Darker colors so I won't expect to keep up to average prices but I think If I average $110 this sale I will be happy. I have a handful of Damaged 1's and 2's in there to bring my average down.

Me as well but I never had that grade before and I'm having a hard time finding a description on the NAFA site. Does anyone have it and does anyone know what DG1 and DG2 1-4 AVG went for on the last auction. I'm trying to determine what my average might be.

If I remember correctly I sold Dg1 for 48 last auction. I'm not home so I can't check my receipt.

Thanks, someone may have the info handy. In the mean time I'll use $40 for DG1 and $30 for DG2. That sounds reasonable I think.

I have 1 coyote right at the bottom of my list that graded II AVG with nothing for colour (ie. MED 1-4). Anyone know what's up with that?

Top lot is top lot Dave!

Nube I've got coyotes spread all over the lots. I seem to catch a wide variety of colours and qualities. Mine are from 157942 down to 158265

Where do you find your furs? I've opened my account but being my first time I'm not sure where to look?

Please help...

There may be some to come? Seems like most guys have their coyotes lotted though.

If you can see your name on the lower left of the page click on the arrow and a drop down menu opens up. You will then see more links.

Mike, being that your account is new it may take longer for your "Current Lotting Letter" portion to show up. Someone else pm'd me with the same issue.

Is your "Current Receipts" with all of your fur showing on your account?

Didn't get a top lot, but not to far off...
On my 4 Fisher I got *sel for 2 of them and *1 for the other 2...
For the 8 Marten I had *sel for 1 of them, *1 for 5 of them, and 1-11 for the last two...quite pleased, hope the suction sells well, good luck to all trappers and their goods...!!!
