Default Wolf population up is related to Coyote popuation down

Has anyone noticed this little trend?

Then ...with the coyote population down, the rabbit and rodent populations will go up.

Coyotes aren't down at all in my main hunting spot. I'll be spending the winter trying to get about 30 of them off the prime sections of land in the area I hunt.
