Default Yeti cuts ties with NRA

Why they would choose to alienate such a large portion of their customer base is beyond me

when the NRA lost a grasp on reality and continued to have extreme radicals in senior level positions they lost me. There inability to consider anything but there protectionist paranoid views will make them irrelevant at some point

What makes them "extreme radicals"?

A believer in the second amendment is a radical?

With this type of rhetoric our children do not have a bright future.

On the plus side - NRA memberships have been selling like hotcakes. That speaks for itself.

Respectfully New view I have no desire to get into any debate with you as anyone who does not agree with your opinion is berated and told that we are the problem with society so I will bow out of any perceived debate with you

Why would you make the aforementioned accusations without being willing to provide justification for doing so?

You will always have my respect for that comment. There’s no point arguing with a wall.

When did he say WE? The NRA is an American organization. At no time did he say Canada had a 2nd amendment.

It depends how they exercise that belief,
and what the outcomes are.

Wendy Cukier is that you? Or is it Heidi Rathjen? Oh wait, those two have protectionist paranoid views and are widely considered to be extreme radicals.

I guess you're confused.

Gun owners are eventually doomed because of people within the community who side with anti's.

Who cares? Why does a cooler manufacturer need to have any ties with the National Rifle Association?

sucks but I will still buy their products. If I boycotted every company that disavowed something I like, then I doubt I would make it very far...

I agree to this.

The NRA should be dedicated to protecting the second amendment, and that is all.

Not sure what firearm choice has to do with a commercial cooler manufacturers decision to part ways with the NRA...

My hope is that Governments, media and pundits focus on the real problem.. mental health.

Loss of life is tragic regardless of means, and the precipitating factors are usually easily visible when the post mortums are done.

Bringing new and more regulations to law-abiding people who principally hunt and target shoot isn’t going to lessen the criminal use of firearms (who don’t register or get permits in the first place) or those who suffer from mental breaks or disease.

My humble opinion.

Pretty much, but the NRA outrage brigade has a story line that they keep feeding. The Putin apparatchiks taught them well.
