Another Draw Question - lose priority??
Quick question folks. I've looked and can't seem to find where it says at what point do you lose your draw priority after not applying. I know you can miss one year (as I've done that often) What about 2?
I'm priority 2 this year for Cow Elk and Priority 6 for Antlered Elk. Problem is I have a shot at a cow with priority 2 and would like to put in for that but my Antlered Elk was last bumped in 2011 to a 6. So if I don't apply for Antlered in 2013 it would be a 2 year lapse instead of just 1. I'd hate to lose that priority.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks!

You don't lose your priority rating if you don't apply for a year. I haven't applied for WMU 300 elk for a few years, but my priority has remained the same.

Hi Scott
Thanks for the info, that's what I hoped but I'd not gone more than every second year before so wasn't sure.

you aren't supposed to lose it ever....but I know it has happened. a P3 disappeared on me after not applying for several years. that was a few years back and Im told it is fixed now.....but i print off everything every year now. i was told if i could provide proof i could have fixed my situation....but who the hell thinks of that at the time?

I think what happens is that AlbertaRelm only shows your priority history going back 6 years, but you shouldn't ever lose your priority

And his post told pincherguy that info, did it? Some people.....
Maybe Pincher didn't know so he asked a question to be answered, but again you feel the need to act like a child.
