I say the Preds just got spanked good by Columbus.
I don't make predictions, I'm like The Cooler....you don't want me touching your team. Or mine.

I like trying to figure out the sleepers. Always have em. In the west st.louis or Dallas. Pitts not a favourite being in 6th and Columbus who barely gets in. Whole new brand of hockey come playoffs. Can’t wait to see some playoff hockey where they actually play to win

Been a long time since President's Trophy winners won it all but Tampa gets my vote. Hope the local boys win a couple rounds, show well, & win it all next year!

How about a 2004 replay?
Tampa Bay. Their goaltending is too good, their offense is crazy, and their defense is above average. I think Tampa's hardest round will be the 1st round because the only thing that is going to beat them is an extremely hot goalie and Price or Bobrovsky could fit that bill.

The big question. Can smith or rittich get hot for long enough to win 4 series. Time will tell. As stated, hot goalies steal games. This is usually how dark horse teams go deep.

Sweet 16......put the whistles away and let'em beat upon each other to have the right to hoist the cup!

Just watching the Pittsburg/New York game. The backup goalie is essentially sitting in the stands, down in the corner near the door, as there is no room for him on the bench. Odd set up.

Sharks Vegas up next, I hope they go into OT every game a period or two and pound each other. Jets loose which sucks, but I am no Liane fan fo doesn't bother me much. Would like to see a Canadian team advance though.

Some of the saves tonight are UNREAL. I do like the look of the Arena for the Jets.. That White is amazing.
Imagine what RED will look like in 24 hours.

Yup, sharks vs Knights is good hard hitting hockey
Speaking of hard hitting......I wonder if there will be disciplinary action for Thornton’s check to the head.

I would think Thornton will be out a game for that hit.

Originally I had heard he only got 3 games and was not happy, as that would have been to soft with his record. SO this makes sense as could be 5 games I guess depending.
Still think a bit light with his record.

Should have been around 8 games. He got off easy considering his history.

I'm the opposite, love this time of year. These games are fast and hard hitting. Games every night, as a hicjey fan couldn't ask for more.
The Dallas game tonight should be a good one with all the shenanigans last game involving the goalies. Looks like all the series except the Islanders could go all 7.

You could have had this two months ago....now the days are getting longer and warmer......time to be outdoors fishing, quading, long motorbike rides....sit around the fire...talking about the next hockey season.

I LOVE sitting on the deck with the tv hauled out, barbacueing, lounging, drinking cold ones from the cooler and watching hockey with my shirt off as my girl waits on me and my buddy’s every whim. Leave it alone!
