Default Immunisations, In Specific Polio

I know the discussion about having your children immunised has been had on here and after coming across this video and article I figured it was worth sharing.

Plain and simple if you think you know more then the doctors and scientists and you refuse to get your child immunised you put them at risk to contract diseases like this and if that happens it is no ones fault but your own. Are you really willing to live with that consequence?

Video is near the top, article has a lot of good information too.

With the two separate instances in southern Alberta where parents have been found guilty of negligence in the deaths of their children I hope the hippie freaks start getting the message, though I realize that hope is largely empty. I can relate to wanting to minimize the amount of chemicals and medicine going through yourself and your children, but immunizations and seeing the Dr when they’re seriously ill is the minimum,, Just because some daft deluded idiot reads something online that jives with their pre-existing paranoia it does not mean that philosophy is true. Now the one couple whose negligence killed one of their sons are expecting another child, they father should have been gelded.

So you are OK with the more government intervention and control?

There's no downside to taking the Polio vaccine. who would wish Polio on anyone's child?

Or have them carry and infect another child!

Your kid gets polio because you didn't get the vaccine...Alberta Health pays for NONE of the treatment...your pocket.

I'm old enough to remember people who had polio....so easy to prevent. Why the hell wouldn't anyone do it?

Ok, I am not against vaccinations, I am neutral. I agree with the polio vaccine, for one. My ONLY point is that whoever condones mandatory vaccinations for children whose parents are opposed to it for their personal reasons is a fool.

Can’t remember the year ... mid ‘50’s, a cousin started getting a temperature while we were at the Hardisty Stampede. He nearly died and lost the use of his legs to polio. We were lucky, but who knows what happened with others he came in contact with?

I've found people are generally okay with it if they agree with the action from a personal standpoint. Sad really.

I know the discussion about the Tikka T3 or Browning X Bolt has been had on here and after coming across this video I figured it was worth sharing.

Plain and simple, if you think you know more then the gun experts and editors and you refuse to admit the X-Bolt is better you put your kids at risk to think the Tikka is the better gun and if that happens it is no ones fault but your own. Are you really willing to live with that consequence?

Video is near the top, lots of good info in the comments too.

I don’t blame the mistrust of the government at all. When it comes to finances, where they spend our money, who and how they tax, and hardline stances on topics that we all know aren’t because they’re passionate, but because they’re pandering for votes, sure thing they’re sneaky.
But denying your kid, and others kids the opportunity to not get sick because your paranoid is the reason the government even has to consider making it mandatory.
They are self serving charismatic egotistical thieves, not evil super villains trying to infect the world.
