I just did the batteries in my RV, and went with the two Trojan 6V Golf Cart Batteries wired in series.Cost a mint ($450) for both but after checking around for info, am firmly convinced that they were the right choice. Longer life ( less frequent replacement, which adds up), a longer, stronger charge, better performance for dry camping (no community power. The downside is initial cost, and a longer time required to charge. I've heard from others who run the same setup of them getting 5+ years of great performance out of these, vs. replacing the initially cheaper 12V deep cycles in 2 yrs. So in 5 yrs, you pay the same price for 4 12V cheapies, or initially bite the bullet and get the good stuff.
