2013 Fly Swap
Hey guys, there has been a lot of interest in another fly swap, but no one is stepping up to the plate to host, so i will host this one.
What you will need, 1 envelope with your 12 flies, along with another envelope inside that envelope self addressed and stamped. Along with each fly toe tagged with your username.
I would be also up for hosting a second swap, Im thinking your best Stillwater fly (Swap) and the other Being your best river fly (swap).
Things to remember, its not cool to stiff your hostee. If you want the flies from the swap back you will have to provide the postage and envelope back to yourself. No exceptions.

4.Daceminnow JR
5.Pikergolf

Once your flies are complete, you can pm me for my mailing address and we will get this thing going.
Lets aim for February 4th as the deadline for the first swap.
Cheers Guys.

Sign me up. I have to get the tying stuff out again after christmas anyway. So this will be a great start.
I have run many swaps over the years and if I could offer a little advice to you it would be to stick to one type of fly (stillwater or river) for now and just be clear and concise right from the start. Be firm on a date to have all the flies in. Too many times there is one stragler that drags it down. If you go ahead with it even if they aren't all in. Then if there is one late you can just mail them back to them. Clear and concise right from the start will help you in the end.
I will tie up a dozen of my original and best stillwater pattern the Ridgeback.

Jeremie,
You have school going on for you right now, so things will be busy for you.
Choose which fly will take you less time and I'll tie the other. I'm guessing the micro scud is quick for you so I could do the balanced leeches. That is unless the leeches are quicker for you.
I was thinking a killer chrony, but I see there's already a couple chronies being tied.
Cheers, Adam

Not to worry Piker,
I think the balanced leech is something everyone should have in their arsenal anyway. But I'll wait until Jeremie decides on what he wants to tie.
