Trolling for Trout

Hey everyone, just looking for some advice on trolling for trout.

Looking for some techniques, tips and tricks.
What do I need for hardware?
What about fly gear?

Hopefully some of you trout guys will pitch in your 2 cents.

I have no problems on a stream or river, but am a little lost on a lake.
