So by your own admission here, taking away firearms doesn't reduce murder, it merely changes the weapon/method. Same goes for suicide. The Britons who are less physically capable are thus less able to defend themselves. Firearms serve as a force-equalizer. If the murders still take place, why have your knickers so knotted about how the instrument used, rather than why they occurred & what motivated the assailant? Daft & illogical. The numbers don't lie, but you'll sure try to throw a spin on them.
Noting that the UK never much used firearms 'traditionally' is hysterical, I'll have to notify Holland & Holland.
