1954 Blackwidow bow History/value???

Hello everyone, I am a long time compound bow hunter but have limited knowledge on traditional archery equipment. I was wondering if anyone could help me determine some information on this Blackwidow bow that I have inherited. I am looking for the value to determine whether or not it should be insured. I have been told a variety of numbers but they are all from people who im sure are trying to get it for a good deal. I have talked to Black widows factory and gave them the serial number, they claim it left the factory in august 1954. Any help on the value of this bow and any history it may have would be much appreciated! FYI, Im not sure I want to get rid of it but I would like as much information on it as possible.
