E6X Drop shot rod?
Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the E6X drop shot rod, as i have an opportunity to buy a new one for over 50% off. I don't do much drop shotting, but was wondering about it's application as a walleye jigging rod.
The action is listed as MAG medium, and I am not quite sure what that means other than the blank tapers. However, i'm unsure of the practicality, as all rods taper. I've also been told it's closer to a med light, but am not sure why the rod is not just called med light.
What do people typically use for jigging specific rods? From my experience, an extra fast, med light, rod, about 6" long is prefered, the only difference with this one is it's 6"10. I'm not sure what difference that makes for me, as the rod is a really good deal.
If anyone knows anything at all about the E6X drop shot edition, I would appreciate the help.
