Default Operation melanistic harvest.... done!!

Beauty day here in the south.... little to no wind. Doggo rating to go.

Gave the wild birds a break and hit a release site... other than road hunters... we were the only ones there.

Once again.... no roosters for me. I think the rooster gods hate me. I got 2 huns on some great shots.........

But still no roosters for me.

My boy and the dog took the show from there!


I’ve never seen one before... very cool!!



I don’t think these are melanistic birds boys..... I heard about a northern Chinese strain that is colored like this and supposed to be wayyyy hardier due to its adaptation to the northern climes.....

Despite my roosterless season... I’m luvin it too.
