I'll send you a picture of the flies. Surprisingly all the big chinooks were taking smaller flies (Size 4). This guy took a black intruder style fly in size 1. Sadly I had 10 attempts at Chinook over 25 pounds and lost all of them. 1 Broken rod, 2 straightened hooks, 1 broken hook, and a complete Spey line and sinking tip taken (Should have used 50 pound backing not 30), the others just headed downstream and shook the fly. 9 Weight is not enough for those fish. Expensive consequences but incredibly fun and it is driving me nuts thinking a whole year must pass before doing it again. I am seriously thinking about selling everything and living there at leaast for the summers. I don't think a day would go by without fishing of some sort.

Hey Chubb, his first ever perch.
He heard they were tasty. He ate it right there. I had donuts, they tasted better. Thanks for the donuts Trader.

I'll be in Lac La Biche. 5th wheel will be on the beachfront. Your welcome to come soak a line with me. I don't like fishing with people so I never get fish pictures. Plus my face would just shatter the camera lens and I'd be out a few hundred bucks.

Caught some stuff today; two mooneyes, a sucker fish, and this baby pike. It's not much but I'm happy with it.

That's not a baby pike that's a walleye.
Just thought I would let you know. Not trying to start a fight or be a dick.

People please read your regs and know your fish before you go fishing.

Andy...kind of like the nice couple who last night were going to keep the walleye they caught on the NSR till they were reminded there is 0 limit there....and they were told what kind of fish it was....

I saw all the nice sharp teeth and just assumed it was a pike. Either way it was a first catch of the species for me!
I'm not keeping anything. Releasing fish all gentle like makes me feel like David Suzuki.
Anyways Ill be sure to read up more, thanks for the tip guys... I knew I was going to get ridiculed for that picture, ha.

Nice pics everyone......even nicer guys who never posts pics are doing so. Not a thread of judgement if someone needs a kind gesture of education do it in a pm. I started this thread hoping everyone would feel safe to post pics of anything they choose without judgement of any sorts.
Thanks ive enjoyed every pic.
