Fishing Sylvan?

Family and I are camping at Jarvis Bay this weekend and wold like to give fishing a try, but i have never fished Sylvan before. Will be unloading the boat on the north end. Any suggestions, location tips would be appreciated. How's the walley fishing, or would we be better off looking for pike? Again, any help would be appreciated.

walleye fishing is excellent for small walleye. they are all over the lake. drag a jig and minnow slowly across the bottom.
