Default AB fire ban ??

I am heading out this wed. for the lake ( Pincher Creek area ) and long weekend camping.. I have been to several sites and cant find a fire ban listed in the place were heading.. Im thinking I can find that answer here.

As far as I know it is only the waterton park that has the fire ban. I haven't heard of another one as of yet. Keep checking on the local radio stations. I know when they had a fire ban earlier this year they were announcing it quite regularly on all the Lethbridge stations.

up to date current fire ban info can be found at the link below. so far the pincher area looks ok, just north of there not so much. but with the long week-end approaching and not much moisture in the forecast i bet one gets slapped on.

I was in the Beaver Mines area yesterday and there were fire ban signs all over the place.
