Default Walleye are Starting to Bite

Hit the S.S.R Fri.&Sat. and caught 15 or so walleye over 2 half days of fishing. A couple would have been over 20".Thats the best we've done this year. They were biting light today picking it up of the bottom and swimming with it You had to let them chew on it for awhile before you could hook them. The wind was bad out there today and we dont do well in the wind.

Dago those are some good looking fish. You should start seeing some bigger eyes over the next couple months on the river.

I really need to try and arrange something with you to get out on the river and get into some eyes. I think I will be taking my little 12 foot tinner to the forks a few times this fall. I just redid the whole interior of it yesterday to make it more open and lighter.
