Just wondering how come nothing has been or was said about this event ( check 07 regs ) Split-B was just nudged out for pike ...
How come its never one of those finesse guys , Like
in a SAWT tournament that comes up with one of those hawgs . Does anyone know the story or the angler .
Do they net Traverse like they do Keho.... W101

Are you talking about the walleye? I haven't heard the story but would like to. Or are you talking about me getting nudged out? As far as me getting nudged out, what can you do... would have been nice to go back to mikisew but maybe next year!

Sorry it was morning when I posted not quite awake .
What I was saying was not much was made of what is obviously a new alberta walleye record . Or did I miss the party , especially out of Traverse , the tubing capital of southern alberta . .

The winning walleye in the regs weighs over 16 pounds, i made a post the other day but no one seemed to have any ideas either. Came out of Traverse. I'm thinking it probably wasn't officially weighed, in that case weight could have been exagerated. Looks pretty big though.

Thanks...
Well seeing as I knew the exact measuremets of his fish before I even went on my trip it would have been easy to do that.
I think it says alot about my character and the type of guy I am to not try and fudge that 0.5inch. Its hard on this board to gauge character sometimes so hopefully that will say something...
I mean, the trip would have been an awesome present for finishing up university (since it will be a while before I will have a grand or two laying around for that kinda trip)

I think you have it figured out, by lying you would have only been cheating yourself. You sound like a straight up kinda guy to me split.

Re: Thanks...
Well I see we have wandered nicely from the original topic .
I just find it strange that no one knows the (alberta )
angler that caught a 16 lb plus Walleye out of a lake .
That the average weight is about a lb. Has traffic
in summer like Deerfoot trail ... If this had happened around Edmonton the guy would be mayor by now.
They would be celebrating on Whyte Ave. cause afterall
what else is there to celebrate about .....:rollin
