Default Coyote decoy

Got a full body coyote decoy for christmas.

Have not hunted coyotes with a decoy has anyone hunted over a full body coyote or silo decoy??????????????

And how do you use them what type of set up,location.???????????????????

Can be effective during mating season in Jan/Feb- Try using some howls and just see how they respond, if nothing else it can help keep their eyes on something else besides you! Good luck!

and I always thought the best coyote decoy was a magpie.

a live magpie over your head can bring yotes in on a string!

i bought a montana coyote decoy this year but havent had much time to try it out yet....damn thing looks real though...i wont set it near ANY road for fear of someone taking a poke at it while im set out there LOL

We have had really good success using a decoy.. Try a white plastic bag with a little red paint on the bag in the mouth of the decoy, pound the rabbit distress call and enjoy
