Default better lake?
what lake do you think is better fishing for pike. NEWELL or KIWANIS?
i am not to worry about quality but would like quanity

Me thinks maybe you mixed up the name of the derby sponsor with da name of the derby lake, if I was guessing. Cant say as I have heard of a Kiwanis lake either.

Alberta bass...I like it! But I'm all stocked up for pike and walleye. I'll need to find a way to sneak money past my wife for some bass hooks. Dat could be verrrrry dangerous!!

my bad i prob did mix some thing up i heard there is a lake about 10 min away from newell, i thought that was the name of the lake.

Ahh thats Kitsim. only fished it once so I dont know anything about it. Same fish its from the same system. there are about a million reservoirs around Newell, I have a hard time picking one to fish most days. what a problem to have!

Im working on it, but I get stuck on a few of them. Oh well soon it will be time to get back to the river and trade the pike for sturgeon!

Default That was our thought
When we first went to Jackfish we were just going to meet up with Wayne for 1 day and then maybe trysome other places. Since then we have found a good fishing spot and had several pretty good days there so keep going back. Even our slow week last week wasn't that bad by most peoples standards but the few before that we did real well over there. I guess if it aint broke don't fix it theory applies.
