Hello fellow anglers , me and the wife going to the athabasca area for 4 days of ice fishing , I am hoping to find some nice perch Maby at north buck . Might try for a hog pike at winefred .does any one have any info or tips to make this a successful trip , the wife is pretty good with me about fishing 24/7 but if I get us in a few hot spots and possibly limit out , I can ensure a happy lady . Ya know how it is boys , happy wife happy life . Any help is good help . Thanks and stay safe .
personally i like touchwood lake. very nice camping if you like it a little rustic. very good fishing for walleye and pike. some big ones for sure. its beautiful.
Thanks pat. I'll be on north buck next thursday and I'm tryin.g to do 4 or 5 lakes in 6 days . I know ,I know pretty tolerable wife Lmao . Maby I'll hit there Friday , you got any recent info for touch wood . Have you ever heard or have any experience with Logan , it connects to heart thru a creek . Went when I was young with family . I remember it was amazing fishing ...
being a new member, i dont know if you know about the search feature.... type in heart lake or any other lake you want and it will drag up posts and threads on the lake...... good luck, im more of a spring, summer, fall fisher.
Ive done so and did some other research .it seems Logan being so hard to access , is not well known at all . I'll try looking up touch wood , thanks pat
