Flyers aren't worth anything unfortunately. Shame because they have such a nice pelt.

Pulled the last of my sets on Sunday. May go for some beaver this spring time permitting. Was a good year with a mixed bag to send to the auction. I trap 2 lines so it helps get my numbers up. Just need to find a line with endless marten Disappointed the wolves never showed up but will get them next year.
Marten 14
Fisher 6
Lynx 8
Weasel 22
Otter 2
Coyote 2
Squirrel 4
Beaver 1

Just put some 330's under the ice. I'm trying a potato and orange peel for an attractant - seen it done on you tube - hope it works because I'm not sure where the runs are.

I got my first beaver ever last week. Used a chainsaw to open a hole and dropped a 330 about 12" under the ice. I used a pealed potatoe for bait on the trigger. Not a huge one. Probably a 2 year old. Curious though as to how many beaver should be in that pond. Also set up a coin on an otter slide heading down a choke point to the dam.

Winter Totals
Couple of pictures before shipping the last of the fur
This not quite half of the coyotes, most of the foxes, all the lynx, and one of the marten.
I have a real hate on for ravens they destroy alot of good coyote fur.
The one picture is on the fur table @ the ATA
Final Winter Total
72 coyotes
7 foxes
3 marten
4 lynx
1 fisher
3 Beaver

Nice photos , looks like a ton of work was involved .. It will be interesting to see what your results are . I caught a nice bobcat and chose to get a full mount instead of selling , depending on price I may have wished I sent it with my coyotes . Good luck at auction .

H380,
Hopefully the next sale has prices near that of the last sale. Cleared over $30 more per hide on the last auction, then what the fur buyer was going to pay. The price for bobcat on the last sale was very good.
With all the coyotes it is hard to believe that there is so many foxes in some areas. Never seen a fox on the farm as a kid and now there is quite a few.

Best way is to set up a pole for them to run on and then set snares on top.
