Default Calgary SCI Dinner this Thursday

I have 2 tickets and cannot use them. If anyone would like them and can pick them up in Calgary today or tomorrow send me a PM and they are yours. Free..... just don't want to see them wasted. First PM takes them.

The Zoo donated a couple meet and greet sessions " close encounters" with the penguins as a fund raising tool SCI in turn will do similar with the Zoo. It's a recognition and support relationship it's recognizing a common intrest in the relationship we share and the enjoyment we get from seeing and learning about hte animals we share this planet with. I think its a good relationship based on a mutual love of animals and a desire to share learnings and conserve our wildlife.

Wow thats awesome imo ... guess I have always thought of zoos as "anti-hunting" type conservation groups (should really be "anti-poaching") ... glad to hear of this
