Default Pine Coulee today

water was 56 degrees on surface a 1 - 1.5 ' chop, and the walleye in about 12' on structure (as is usual). Grandkids caught about 12 in an hour before the wind, showers and cold got to us. Minnow on yellow jig and surprise surprise just a bare yellow jig.

Of course the Dora the Explorer pink rod out fished the boys.

I had the feeling that if the wind and temperature would have let us stay "on the spot" the kids would have caught a lot of fish.

They (the walleye) seemed in "good shape" for the Lake, all the same size about 14 - 15".

It's neat that the kids don't need to kill fish to have good time, just slipped em back with fond wishes to bit again.
