Default Sturgeon bait

well, since Ive been swamped by requests as to what I use to catch all my sturgeon, and being the good sport that I am, I will share it with you. I hit up the local butcher after hes done a bunch of hogs, and get him to save me the rectums. leave them in the sun for 3 or 4 days to ripen, a dash of salt, and they are ready to go. Stay on the hook forever too!

In BC we use stinky fish parts or rotten hamburger pieces wrapped in roe sacks netting. works awesome. Or good old worms work well. Thanks for sharing your tips.

If you can get some that are still puckered, they stay on a barbless hook better...
