Default Moving blinds around

Hey guys.

So, after a few years of coming up empty, we've decided to move our blinds and put some of them on stilts. Here is my FIL's, which we actually built from scratch couple weeks ago. Mine's been torn down and is in a big pile waiting to be moved and rebuilt. We're going to fix that next week.

I'm unsure if I should put mine on stilts as well. It will be at the top of a slight hill over where the carrots and stuff will go in fall. If anyone really thinks I should still raise it up, let me know. I'll try to make a case for it.

Anyway, I figured you guys might get a kick out of the pix from the build process. The pix aren't great, though; they're all iPhone shots.

The view from my MIL's back yard the morning we left for the camp.

On our way. Those hinges are for the door on my FIL's blind.

Hunt camp. The plan is to extend the back wall by about 8 feet, but it's just fine for now.

The struts, floor and one wall.

Three walls.

Front window/shooting port cut out.

Back wall on and doorway cut out (gotta love the almighty chainsaw).

160-lb roof. All the other blinds have simple aluminium sheets as roofs. This one took forever to build and get up. And I threw out my back. For mine, I've decided to stick with the aluminium.

Oh: the door's also on.

All done!

It's a straight-up solo blind, just big enough to draw a bow in for bow season. One port for shooting out the front, one smaller windows on the side. Mine's larger because I'm getting one that's already been standing. The others have car bucket seats in theirs. I'm still unsure what to do for seating in mine. I may do the same for comfort's sake.
