Do you know how many "Twin lakes" there are in Alberta?

I can think of three.

One west of Rocky.
One north of Manning.
One east of winfield. (which is, I think the one you must be talking about)

Big deep holes in the lake are sure not the places to fish. Fish need feed and feed needs shallower water with sunlight.

Years ago when that Twin lake still had trout put in it, I fished a bit of worm on a little jig down near the bottom in about 12 feet of water. I caught a few perch and a big "brood trout".

West twin is about 126 feet deep thats sinking into the loon poop chest deep it use to sport some big hatchery Rainbows back in the day and has always came with the stories of bottomlessness and monster pike but has never produced truly big fish nor is it as deep as they say, but for a very small lake it is some deep and some dark!

I have had many dives in the lake over the years and use to enjoy a stop in the dive bell to chat
