Default Sevylor fish hunter

Are they any good to fish out of? How are they for scraping against rocks, sticks etc. ? I might buy one soon .

They are not bad. I have a 4 man seahawk and built a wooden floor for it. put a 30lb minnkota on the back and it works great. wood floor really stiffens it up. Youtube will show you lots of mods for it. good luck

I looked at them last season and they seem pretty decent. Check out the 4 man though, as the 2 man is kinda cramped if you do have a second person. For you by yourself the 2 man would be okay.

If you do end up getting one I have a trolling motor you could use for the season...you just gotta figure out the motor mount

I had one for years and it served me will I had the fish hunter 336 and it came with its own motor, a toy but it worked. As to the floor Idea it is the best FIRST item to add ! It makes everything work so much I had added some pieces ans a clip to hold my lawnchair !! But after 5 years I upgraded

Ive got the fish hunter 4, lets just say Im looking for a canoe. Its not that comfortable. I find the fish hunter 4 is only good for 1 person and gear. As for wear resistance, its not that great. It doesnt take much to puncture the bottom. Make sure you buy a quality roll of duct tape as well.

I had a fish hunter about 10 years ago. Not very durable. Would recc Aquamarine boats instead (they are based in vancouver and also sell on ebay). Many more chambers and durable.
