Think we need a few law suits to kick em in the ass. This discussion sounds just like what's happening around here. Bunch of Grizz show up regular as clockwork and it's only a matter of time before something happens. I dare say if a bear sighting has been reported to F&W and they do nothing about it, they have liability for anything that happens after that.

Grizz

When I leave a frozen stripped deer carcass in the box of my truck too long... the magpies get at it. Make a horrible mess on my box sides and wake me up in the morning.

They made it illegal for me to shoot them in city limits.

Won't the government save me?

Probably because he/she'll come right back.

If it ain't doin' no harm, what's the problem? Sorry, I haven't read the other thread.
The fish 'n fur guys ain't that stupid...think about it...they didn't want to see the grizz hunt stopped....it was the university researchers who pushed this crap the whole time.
The more grizz they don't do anything about, the more we have to complain about and the better chance we get our hunt back! They know that too!

Hmmm...I sense a troll in the area.

And from the sounds of it...her panties are in a twist.

Well good luck lobbying for action with your non-problem.

Best keep an eye out for black duelly in the area... these sorts of problems seem to keep that sort of company.

Nope,,,, Here is the way I see it folks.
1. The grizz hunt won't ever be back.
2. With the expanding grizz population their range will clearly expand , an area can only hold so many and this expansion is inevitable.
3. The more attention posts like this will only be more fuel to add for the grizz lovers , and anti's to close down a really great WMU to black bear baiting.
So it's in all our best interest just to go about our way of life and say nothing of these sightings. As I stated in the other thread , she is not new to the area and never stays in one spot too long.
Keep bringing attention to this bear and we will loose another black bear baiting unit !!

X2 people freak out like "ahhhh theres a bear he is going to kill us all!!!"

Well a lot of the time its gonna be expensive to relocate a bear, and why kill a bear if it hasn't really caused any harm??

Grizzly bears also have some of the strongest homing behavior. You release it somewhere else, its just gonna come right back. Chances are its just gonna move on.

Default Bear

Is there any other pictures of this bear?? It does look a bit like a color phase bear in the only picture I saw. The shoulders do look small for a grizzly, could just be the angle.

Remove food source, bear will leave!

If dead cattle is put in this place often, even if it is removed in a timely manner there would be some lingering smell. I'm not against the feed lot and what they used to do, but they need to change their practices now as the situation has changed.

Good Luck, be nice to see some mroe pics.
