Anyone ever buy off Gunbroker Auctions?
Just wondering if anyone has been able to buy off a Gunbrokers (USA) auction, and import. There are some items I'd love to bid on, and have an importer bring in for me, but they wouldn't let me register without contacting Customer Service (which I did), as I gave a Canadian address. Anyone?

I have looked into it but have not pulled the trigger as of yet. Prophet River is about your best bet, they're really good at getting back to you and people have had good experiences working with them. Good Luck.

I have purchased a few items off of Gunbroker, and used Prophet River to import them.

Register on Gunbroker, verify that what you are bidding on can be imported into Canada if there is any doubt, then make the purchase.
Then go to the Prophet River site, then to the IMPORTING section, and follow the directions.

That's what just happened to me. I have sent a message to their customer service (which is what they said I needed to do), and hopefully I can get registered and then do some buying.

elkhunter11,
Do you have to use Northsound Sporting as your ship to address when you register on Gunbroker?

So when you win the bid, you just fill in the Prophet River forms and they do the rest? Do you have to have the gun shipped to Northsound Sporting or does Prophet River do it for you?

Be very careful on GB. There are scammers there also. GB's insurance ($400 max) does not pay out if you're not in the US.

You have the item shipped to the FFL dealer that Prophet River uses, which depends on what you purchase. Shotguns are sent to a different FFL dealer.
