Default Clear lake last Saturday

I tried posting a vid of a double double header pike on one smelt on Sunday and had issues. I am trying the Vid, but also attaching a pic as well.

Also, as promised to a few members, when I was out fishing I told you my dad caught a 32 lb, 7oz out of newell back in the late 80's, and I said I would take a pic of it. So, here it is...Finally

Ok, Quick time vid is not supported.....

Nice, I've never had 2 pike on one smelt but this summer in Ontario I got 2 bass on a topwater plug. They both hit it at the same time, felt like a big lazy fish but it was 2 fish each under a pound.

That's a sweet pike mount, how long would you say it is?

if it is 32lbs I doubt it is 35-38".... Thats pretty small! I would guess 40-45".

Regardless... Monster!

I was wondering the other day if it was possible to catch two pike on one rig like that... I guess it is! Must have been an interesting fight!

HAHA.... They did not give a fight at all...Which is bizzare because you think they would head in different directions...When I got the first one to the hole, I thought the other pike was going at him for dinner...but they both sat at the hole just waiting...No fight...SO I grabbed my phone while they were both in the hole...Again, pulled them both up and they sat there..LOL

Yeah... The pike could be 40+ inches but, I am guessing....
