Default Alberta man sentenced for smuggling ammo and a stun gun disguised as kids toys into Canada

In his defense these are childs toys in Arizona

http://www.edmontonsun.com/2013/04/0...ys-into-canada

Mansfield was sentenced Tuesday in Lloydminster Provincial Court to a $7,000 fine under the Customs Act. He was also banned from owning any weapons or explosives for two years.

And never allowed to go to the USA again for sure and after a two year ban I'll betcha he is going to have a hard time getting his RPAL back

Bat..

Ya ' gotta be kidding! Kids toys in Arizona are stun guns, pepper sprays and very large magazines. Whatever happened to Ken and Barbie?

It was barely disguised,
He bought them down there and mailed them to himself,
And simply wrote kids toys on the box where it you must enter a description..

I was hoping to see a stuffed bear with ak mags for arms and legs...

Ummmm.... right.....

officers discovered a can of pepper spray, a stun gun, eight 30-round over capacity rifle magazines, one 20-round over capacity rifle magazine, two 15-round pistol magazines and two 33-round pistol magazines.

Last time I was in the states I bought the kids a couple cases of claymore mines....

You know whats funny is you probably have a better chance of simply driving back with stuff.
Honestly... have you ever had your vehicle searched at the border?
I haven't.... at least not by our guys... returning home.
But Canada Customs has opened about half the parcels that I have recieved from there and you know that they are scanning 100% of em.

He got what he had coming for breaking the law... likely trying to skirt tarrif charges and being a DB.
Guys that pull stunts like that give the rest of us a bad name and lend credability to the anti arguments.

Got to love customs. I ordered a bag of heavy send from Sinclaire international. It came in the mail yesterday but the bag was only have full because I'm assuming customs took a knife cut the box and the bag and half had leaked out.

Really??? Contact Sinclairs and they will make it right!

Seriously it is worth a call, their customer service is great even though it likely is not their fault....when you pay $60 plus for shipping you had better get everything you ordered.

No mention in that story of actual pistos, yet there is a picture right beside the story. ffs!
