And here is my very first boat 30++ years ago. My son and I restored it last year and put it on a new trailer. I've owned several since but just have to keep the 12 footer.

1989 15 foot invader with a 110 Johnson. Nothing fancy, but gets us out on the water and starts every time you turn the key...

Here is my rig.
I have added a 24 volt minn kota vector transom mount trolling motor since this picture.
I will be doing a bunch of work to it after this coming open water season. Hopefully the whole console set up will be gone and I will be steering with a tiller handle from the back. I am also thinking about sanding down and repainting the sides of the boat and putting new decals on it.

Here is my Baby!
This is my third boat and probably my last. Cannot wait to get out on the water!
Use it for walleye tournaments mostly.

It would probably be a lot easier and maybe even cheaper to get it wrapped. They can do pretty much anything you want these days and they look great.

Yeah center consoles waste space, add weight and do not have the same control as a tiller. You can buy outboard jets up to 150-200 now with tillers cause people have figured that if you want to turn NOW the tiller does it. Spinning a *&^%$$& wheel does not.

Sure, if you need it. I drive a 90 hp jet on an 18 foot and my max speeds do not necessitate cover. What I need is a boat that turns on a dime on tight rivers.
Everyone to their own. All I know is more and more guides are turning to tillers in ocean and river applications. Any how what is one of those little center consoles good for, covering the driver? What about the clients or friends???
If you want coverage get a windshield or full canvas, otherwise go open.
My 10 cents

Do you know any place or anyone that can do a wrap for a good price? Everything I have looked into is like $1500.
I can get my boat painted for way less then that.
Even if I do all the prep. work and get it professionally painted it would be way cheaper.
I was just going to prep. and paint it myself but if you know of someone who does decent wraps for cheap I am all ears.
I don't plan on fixing it up until this season is over so I have plenty of time to talk to someone about ideas and prices.

I am going to wear a guidewear suit and run a tiller. My console doesn't even cover me when the weather is nasty and just takes up space and adds weight that isn't needed.
As soon as I can get a tiller handle for my motor or swap my motor for a tiller one I will be taking the console out and rewiring everything in the console to the back of the boat.

The newer outboards with tillers are longer and better designed than the old ones. Just FYI
