The directions are:

Head west on Hwy past the airport towards Wembly. Turn north (left) on Range Road 80 and drive 1.5 miles north. Look up. Big log house with blue metal roof and the large shop sitting right in front of you is your destination!

Come over to the shop.

Bring a lawn chair to sit on... as we smashed all Rick's furniture during the fight at the last local meeting. Whoever stole Rick's beer fridge needs to bring it back and he'd like his dog back before hunting season. It's no wonder none of our members want to host these things. I will have the taser again at this meeting so make sure you don't come needing an attitude adjustment.

By the way we're a friendly bunch and welcome any and all folks who'd like to attend, unless you're under house arrest.

As our feature event we're having a video presentation at the GP Local meeting on May 1st. "Twenty years of filming wolves"

Filmmaker Andrew Manske will be hosting a dynamic video presentation featuring a career spent filming wolves from all across North America.

Select highlights from National Geographic - CBC - BBC - and Discovery Channel documentaries will be shown... and Andrew will tell the behind the scenes stories on what it takes to get these type of shots. It's sure to be an interesting evening!

Great meeting and turnout. Thanks to everyone who attended and donated items. We brought in $700. We really enjoyed the " 20 years of filming wolves" presentation.

Our local passed a motion to request a resolution amending marten/ fisher, and lynx season to Feb28th as early season access has been an issue on many of our traplines.
