Thumbs up Athabasca river report

Fished the Athabasca river a few days ago and ended up with lots of 18-22 inch goldeye and tons of burbot but no walleye or pike, great day, lots of jet boats and dingys floating down by Fort Assinibone.

looks like you had some rough weather up there. pity about the wallies, but burbot backstraps make a nice shore lunch.

Never tried over around the fort before.
