Default closest salmon river/lake to the heart the new west?

like to know if there's more place close to calgary besides columbia river/lake, its salmon season!!!

Uhh ruperts land is roughly 400 yrs old so our "new"west is actually older than the old west. Do you mean kokanee, because there are no salmon in the canadian Columbia river system ?? Dont mean to be rude but you do not appear to be old enough to drive to salmon.

Ok I will tell ya my secret Salmon spot in BC.

Just south of the Town of Yugontufar is the River Icyathere. Plenty of good Salmon fishing and troutsies.

Closest salmon river to Calgary, I'm thinking that would be a tributary of the Thompson near Salmon Arm.

Eagle river from three valley to sicamous, I believe its all catch and release though.
