Anyone try these yet? Who is carrying them. They look interesting enough to try a few.

Over on CanadianGunNutz they are not getting positive reviews, but there might have been unrealistic expectations of the wad visibility.
Most likely one needs a spotter behind the shooter to make any real observations of shooter's performance.
Apparently they are in S. Ontario stores but I have not seen or heard of any in the West yet.
I will also try a few boxes for the modest cost over regular AA shells they are worth a try.

I will bet there will be reloadable copies of the wad coming out as well.

$12.99 and two taxes in Saskatoon Cabela's makes them $14.30 out the door. If you buy ten boxes there is a rebate deal from Winchester for $20 on the flat until 31 August.

Holy smoke, that is wee bit pricey for a round of clays or skeet.

I was at the Athabasca club on the weekend and one of the fellas came from a shoot where they were using the,
he shot a round, and we all agreed that they were "okay" but not worth the price for what they are.

Tried them out at Beaverhill. You definitely need a longer shot against the open sky to even see the wad. Worked OK for some feedback. I only used them if I missed the same target twice. I thought it was a good product for the purpose.

mixed reviews
We've started using them to help new trap shooters who are having trouble catching on to what's going on out there. The club gives this shooter 5 free TrAAckers, along with a 'coach'. As a teaching aid, however, mixed reviews so far.
The TrAAcker wad really does go where the shot column goes, there's no doubt about that.
We're using the orange TrAAckers against a green forested background, so background contrast is pretty good. Till the larch change colour anyhow. Maybe if we threw plain instead of orange-topped clays the newcomers would get more out of it.

I haven't used them, and I doubt that I will. I see them as just another gimmick, that I really don't need. However, at least they likely won't cause even more problems for shooters, like the huge glowing, add on beads often do.

We could not see the black wads on a very bright day - our range has aspen bush background downrange of the trap layout. We'll have to try out the orange wads one day soon, but hoping for an overcast day.
The wads go 50+ yards.

I would like to get some for our YOUTH SHOOT on Sunday. Does anyone know if Cabelas or Wholesale in Edmonton have them. I will phone tomorrow for sure.

Get an experienced shooter over your shoulder, he'll tell you where your missing.

True that.
Yet, when the new shooter can see for him or herself where the shot column went, it turns the coaching from 'telling' mode to 'showing' mode.
Some folk really do need to see for themselves.
