Default what to do?

So i was loading for the 7stw ... and a few days later was loading for the 300 winmag... quick glance at the scale and proceeded to reload. When done, i noticed that the scale was set 1 grain short for the 300.
should i...
a> just shoot them
b> pull them out and add the grain
c> pull and resize the neck again
thanks

Default Reloading

I would say 1 grain shouldnt make that much of a difference as when you are developing a load for example my 300WM ...I started @ 72.5gr of RL22 and went up by 0.5gr increments with 5 rounds for each load all the way up to 75.5 . I found 74.0 to be my best and most accurate with 74.5 and 75.0spreading out and never even shot the 75.5 reloads.

To be on the safe side thou and best decision, I would pull the bullet, dump the powder charge, resize the neck and then reload it to what you wanted it to be at. Better to error on the safe side if you are unsure, especially if using different powders in the 2 calibers.

the powder is the correct one that i use .
it just a matter of accuracy 1 grain less shoots just over moa and with the 1 grain more its sub moa..

d> use them as barrel foulers ..she seems to like 3 rounds before she tightens up again after a good scubbin...

Something interrupted you while you were reloading.....that's when errors occur.

For the time and effort and peace of mind, pull the bullet and dump and start over.

Then you know for sure.

You deserve the time it takes to do so.

Been thar- dun that!
Your scale may say one grain less, but is it?
maybe it got bumped and the load is ACTUALLY 4 grains MORE??
Only one way to find out, eh?

If it were me, I'd pull them and change the powder charge to what I'd intended, but then I'm really picky about 2 things - powder charge and seating length. Oddly, my advice to most people would be to simply test for accuracy with them - if they shoot well enough for you, leave them alone and use them up. If you're a grain under, who cares if they're a straight shooter? It would depend on the volume - if you loaded 40 or 50 rounds it's more sensible to leave them alone - one less session of work hardening the necks, assuming you'll only expand them and not F/L resize - and that's a bunch of disassembling. Up to you of course, but again if they're consistent and accurate enough, use them.

When in doubt, get the f*** out.

Applies to most situations.

In this case get the powder out and start over.

Another lesson from the school of hard knocks, I guess.
