Default Hummingbird Piranha MAX 160

Quick question,

I've been trying to get this unit to give off an audible alarm when it displays a fish, but i cant seem to find a way to do that?

Anyone know how to set it up like that? Instruction manual didnt do much for me...

Thanks.

If it works like my older humminbird you press the menu key until you get to fish alarm then hit the side key to select which alarm you want (large only, large and medium size, all). Fish ID has to be on for it to work (you need to be seeing the "fish" symbols on the screen not the raw data)

Ya, i saw that in the manual. But today i was on the lake, watching fish come through the screen(fishID+ on, seeing fish symbols), but no audible beeping.. very strange.

Was your alarm set to big fish only? With the fish symbols you were seeing not being big enough to trigger it?
