Default Looking for a good view.

Within 2-3 hrs of Red Deer, accessible by truck, the snow will make hiking hard. Any suggestions?

What kind of view are you looking for? Lots of places just west of Red Deer that provide good views of things. Just drive out towards Saskatchewan crossing.

Where is this Sask crossing? I guess a view of the mountains, or a snow covered lake, or a river valley.

Directly west of Red Deer on highway 11. And you will see views of the mountains in a river valley leading to a snow covered lake.
