Tuck tried some cowpies the first year out hunting, don't think he bothered with them last year. He may have sampled some goose turds occasionally, friend's dog likes those. Tuck is the only dog I have had, that bothered with it.
I don't know as we will ever comprehend, what makes a dog do some of the things they do, just glad I haven't had the roller issue with any of mine, yet.

Got a dog that especially likes cat turds but isn't to picky that she won't eat any kind. The other dog likes a pee slushy. I pee on the snowbank and the old dog is right there. Sometimes have to cut stream off because might pee on her head.

STOP FEEDING YOUR DOGS DRY KIBBLES , WHY YOU ASK
Because the dry foods come out with the same aluring viber and taste as it went in , feed them canned food ,meat etc ,problem gone , and pickup stools right away.

I've fed dry kibble for years without issues. I have also fed raw meat, or canned food/kibble mixed. Some dogs eat crap. It's that simple.

My dog eats her/other dogs poo all the time, have tried different brands of dog food, the powder you get from the vet, cleaning up quickly and nothing really worked. The frustrating part is every time she'd eat poo, she'd vomit an hour or two later in her kennel. Got to the point where she is now in the garage, because she was stinking up the house so bad and we were always cleaning. I honestly dunno what to do with her because this problem is getting out of hand. We can't even let her out in the yard by herself without the fear that we'll be cleaning up barfed up poo(way worse then normal poo) all the time. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be open to them.

The product you need is called for-bid, we used it on our dog. Its a powder you sprinkle on the food and it makes the poop revolting to them. Worked great for my dog and she has yet to eat her own poop again.

Never supposed to punish a dog with a muzzle, that it not what they are intended for.

I read somewhere that if you hit the dog behind the ears with an axe, they quit eating poop........…

Or maybe it was if you hit a bum behind the ears with an axe, they stop eating soup...........

Wish I could remember where the hell I read that.........

coprophagia (sp)
its not known why really its done, but one strong theory is they are trying to get additonal bacteria in there system because of the designer foods the owners are feeding them instead of the carrion of there wild ancestors.

Try giving your dog a banana or half banana a day and see if it stops.

Worked on our golden, must have been a lack of potassium or something. Try to give the dogs some banana and plain yoghurt each day and they seem to leave poops alone.

Horse crap on the other hand....or after farrier visits...

And here I thought our 1 year old black lab was a poo eating weirdo. Turns out shes no different than most other dogs.... She won't go near her own (nor most other dog dumps for that matter), but cat and rabbit crap seem to be her go to poo snacks....
