Default New 3Wt 4Pce

From Steve at Midwest Custom Fly Rods.
Product is second to none. Cant wait to get out and use it. Old growth walnut inlay. Price was unreal. Customer service was even better.
Teamed it with the lightest 3wt reel I could find:

Yes. I don't plan on ever selling it. Maybe and that's a big MAYBE only pass it down to nephews or family of some sort. Not having kids myself.

very nice classic look to it.

How's do you like that reel? I've been sorta eyeing one of those for a while, got a 6 foot 2wt that just doesn't balance right with an amundson TXS 2/4

The reel complete is 2lb4oz. Its great with that rod. There is another one I was looking at that was in the 2lb catagory, not as light. But I cantremember what one it was. I do remember a carbon fibre one in my searching, but I cant remeber if that was it.

Steve told me the blank was made from a proprietary rod blank company. Its IM-8 and fairly fast action. That's all I have on it.

I did find this while I was searching that makes sense:
