Default Lowrance LMS-332

I just purchased a boat from down east and never received it yet, It has the Lowrance LMS-332 GPS unit in it. Does anyone know if this is only a gps or is it split screen gps/depth&fish finder??? Also would like to know how good the gps maps for alberta are by lowrance???

The guy i got it from picked it up at an auction and he doesn't know much about it

i got the lms-240. those are great units.

you can split screen to have gps/sonar or just one screen.

you need the gps antenna to make the unit work with gps, though i rigged up my handheld gps to the fishfinder instead.

the owners manual should be online at lowrance.com.

I use my own maps for the unit but sure you can get all kinds of maps from gps central or maptown.

Default lowrance 332

I had the 332 about 4-5 yrs ago. It is a gps/sonar combo. I didnt like it and sold it after the first year. The screen was to small for me,especially on split screen mode.

Ya i seen a photo of it when the guy sent me pic's and that's why i figured it might be just a gps, because of the small screen. Talked with a guy and he said the navionic maps from lowrance, the ones with contour lines were off a bit with the depth's and even were off from landmarks such as points, but he said the general maps without the contour lines were more accurate with the land marks.

Thanks for the input, if any one else would like to comment or have info on these it would be appreciated!!!
