Moose roaring at approaching wolves
I hope this works. I know that folks here have discussed moose roaring. I had never heard it, but here it is.

I've heard bull moose absolutely "ROAR" during the rut. They are the most intimidating of our big game animals for sure.

Moose roaring
I have heard it twice, once in very thick shrubbery where I could not see
20 feet and he was maybe 40 yards away. It seemed like all the bush just shook. It made me feel small. You could tell the sound came from a huge chest and he was not happy. The second time was years later, he was 150 yards away and I was close to the truck, so it was not as intimidating.
It is a sound you don`t forget.

I've heard bulls do that before.I called 2 out of the trees Into a swampy area, both on a dead run chasing each other growling like that continuously, pretty cool to hear, actually though it might have been a bear chasing them at first untill I could actually see them, it was quite the racket.

I heard one years ago, I was cow calling during the rut and one god awful roar came out of the swamp. It heightened my awareness 10 fold. I asked an old trapper later what would make a roar like that and he told me that it was a cow moose with a bull and she (thinking I was a cow moose) was warning me off.
