Default Pinehurst Big Pike and Walleye

Had a great day out on Pinehurst in June with the girls and caught some of my best Pinehurst open water fish that day. The fish were still pretty shallow and there was minimal weed growth. The fish were taking rapalas and swimbaits very aggressively. Some fish would hit multiple times all the way to the boat. Lots of fun in this clear water where you could see everything happening.

Yeah this was June 12, she was 27 inches long and 7 lbs 2 ounces. Kind of skinny.

It was about as big as I estimated in the video. 35 inch, 13 pounds. You know how when you see them 5- 10 feet down in the water they look like absolute whales. Still in search of a 20 pounder. Until then I just have to take good pics of the ones I do catch, haha!
