Default Sturgeonity lost in NSR

Caught my first NSR sturgeon the other day . I can see how people can get hooked on these creatures. It got a bit dirty before a quick picture then released unharmed. It measured 44"

Nice fish! I like to refer to them as the poor mans marlin. The big ones here in Oregon like to come up and tail walk on the water. There's nothing like seeing an 8-10 ft fish come up out of the water like that after tearing 125 yards of line off your reel! Heehee!!! Welcome to the addiction!

Default Nice Sturgeon

Nice Sturgeon. I would love to catch one one day. Do you mind me asking if you were upstream or downstream of Edmonton?

Very very nice. I've never had the opportunity to fish sturgeon, might have to give it a whirl sometime
