Has anybody tried these shells ? This review isn`t very promising!!

A review of the Federal Prairie Storm shot shell ( for Pheasants) ends up with some surprising findings.

I haven't used the Prairie Storm, but I have had very good success with the Fiocchi Golden Pheasant loads. The nickel plated shot penetrates better than unplated shot, and it doesn't drag the feathers into the meat nearly as bad. I have used both the 20 and 28 gauge loads on pheasant, and they have done a great job. The price is also fairly reasonable compared to most other premium loads.

Default devastating!!!

Prairie storm is likely the hardest hitting game-bird load that I have ever witnessed. Guys forget to let the bird get out there a bit more before pulling the trigger, and it looks like a pillow-fight in mid-air.
The only complaints other than meat damage I have ever heard, is people that stop using them because their shoulder just cant handle the pounding anymore!
