Bite has been slow to moderate around the lake land. Smaller lakes like Sinclair and manatokan have 13 to 16 inches of ice. Every lake I have been in has patchy flood water so be prepared to have ice build up on your wheel wells and possibly having your brakes freeze solid. Also to the best if my knowledge and experience Brown lake is north of Helena, difficult to access by quad, not much more than a dozen feet deep and only has stickleback in it. Unless your experience is otherwise I would stick with Elinor lake.
